Does it feel like the Holidays to you yet? As we enter this season that is supposed to be marked with Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy, it feels like Hope has been in short supply this year. How do we recapture those Advent qualities? How do we keep hoping for Hope?
God is good, all the time. And all the time.... If God is good enough to turn the leaves red every fall how much more does he want to show his goodness to us. In the middle of a global pandemic and lots of strife and suffering in the world some may question whether God is actually Good. What do you think?
Are you a planner? Every detail with contingency plans for your contingency plans? Or do you like to wing it. Hey it will all work out right? When things are spinning out of control it can feel like maybe God didn't have a plan for this. But our unchanging God's plans are always at work. Our unchanging God is all powerful and will achieve his plans. And I love it when a plan comes together.
Our world is changing at a frenetic pace. But our faith rests on an unchanging God. As we navigate our life what does it mean for us to have a God who is unchanging in his word, unchanging in his love for us, and unchanging in his awesome power?
