Come enjoy dinner and a time of community with other men. Right now, we're studying the book of Colossians, a book that stresses the supremacy and sufficiency of Jesus Christ as our source of the knowledge of God, our access into the presence of God, and our restoration into the image of God. Throughout this rich book, we will also discover the essential call of the believer to impact his world in a day when empty philosophies and deceptions are prevalent.
Each Wednesday morning we gather for coffee or breakfast, pray for one another, and study God's word together. Our current study is 2nd Peter-The second epistle of Peter is a brief letter of reminders for first-century Christians. Peter urges his readers to make every effort to grow in their faith, to remember that the promises of God (spoken by the prophets and apostles) are trustworthy, and to beware those who teach otherwise.
The Gospel of Mark by Francis Chan. Filmed on location in Israel, this study is meant to be more than an intellectual analysis of Mark’s gospel. It’s a journey intended to lead you along in the footsteps of Jesus as he walks the road from Galilee to Jerusalem. All men are welcome.
Come study the gospel of Luke. Like other Gospels, Luke’s Gospel recounts the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God, who fulfills all of his Father’s saving promises. Unlike other Gospels, Luke has a companion volume—Acts—in which salvation advances, in Jesus’ name, to “the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Luke’s Gospel invites us to be part of this worldwide spread of the Christian message by showing how Jesus brings salvation to the last, the lost, and the least.
