Advent at First Baptist Lodi
In such a strange year we are acutely aware of our need for hope. Advent points to the hope we have in coming King, born in a manger but we also have the hope of the return of the King Jesus, messiah. Despite our circumstances in this trying season, we are so excited to offer some encouragement and spur one another on this Advent season.

Advent Daily DevotionalJoin us in a daily Advent devotional called, Loves Pure Light. Each week we will put our the devo content for you to download right here. DRIVE-IN MOVIES AT FIRST - JOIN IN AND SIGN-UP TO SERVE
As you hopefully know, we have had to make some changes to our Christmas Program this year do to unfortunate circumstances. But we are making lemonade from the 2020 lemons friends. Our team has been working tirelessly to create and produce a full length Christmas Film called The Thrill of Hope which will be playing Thursday-Sunday at 6:30pm beginning December 10th.
We are having a temporary 20 x 30 foot screen put out front of the church, pointed toward the parking lot so we can enjoy the Christmas Film from the safety and comfort of our own vehicles, tuning into 107.3 KFBC. Since we have a giant screen on property, we might as well make use of it. The other nights of the week will be Family Movie Nights featuring some fun Christmas Classics. What movie isn't complete without Pop-Corn, Snacks, and other Concessions. Pop-Corn will be free and we will have concessions for sale with the proceeds going to Advent Conspiracy.
Did you miss a chance to see The Thrill of Hope? Have not fear, enjoy it in the comfort of your own home!
