Welcome to Easter Week at First Baptist!
Easter is coming and it’s time to celebrate that JESUS IS ALIVE! He conquered death and that’s a reason to celebrate! This truly changes everything. We believe that Jesus is the source of our hope and joy. We'd love to celebrate Easter with you and your family! Everyone is welcome!
Dinner includes matzo ball soup, lamb & brisket, assorted spring vegetables, charoset,
and dessert. The cost for the event is $20 Per Person. |
Passover Seder DinnerWe invite you to our Passover Seder dinner. Acclaimed singer/songwriter Marty Goetz will be officiating this year's dinner. The Passover Seder (ritual dinner of celebration) was celebrated by the early Christian Church as the fulfillment of their deliverance from slavery and sin.
The elements involved in the Seder retell the story of the Exodus and foretell the coming Messiah. This night will enrich your faith by revealing your Jewish roots and the prophetic elements in the life and death of Jesus. This event is open to everyone. |
Sunrise ServiceOn Easter Sunday morning, we will rise before the sun to gather together in front of the Mokelumne river, for a time of worship and celebration of our resurrected King, while watching the sunrise.
Dress warmly and bring a camping chair. Hot coffee and donuts will be served. Drive into the Lodi Lake entrance, and follow the signs towards the back part of the lake. |
Easter SundayEaster is more than a story about one man. It's the story of hope for all of humanity. This Easter Sunday, we invite you to come hear the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, discover how we are all a part of His story, and what that means
to a broken world. We're excited to share this special day with you--so come just as you are and let's celebrate together! |
Easter BaptismsBaptism is a visible symbol of God’s saving work within a person. It is the outward sign of belonging to the people of God—those who have repented and put their faith in Jesus Christ. This Easter Sunday, you'll have an opportunity to take this important step in your faith journey. What a perfect time as we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus!
